I took this photo on a walk at dusk that was meant to clear the energy of what I had been pondering all day.
To me the sky represents the vast space of mind in which thoughts temporarily cast shadows on the view. Letting go of those thoughts, they disperse like the clouds in the open (bare) sky, and natural spaciousness is regained. A reminder of how it IS, and a play on the words “bear in mind” My statement comes from the perspective that the idea of "bettering ourselves" is another conditioned attitude reflecting the erroneous thought or feeling that "I am not enough - just as I am".
We are already good enough to be happier, more healthy and fulfilled in life. Striving to be MORE negates who and what we already are. As aware and self- conscious beings enlivened by the boundless Energy of Love--the love to be, the love to thrive and the love to love, we are in a position to view any situation as an opportunity to make choices that are in alignment with this, our true nature. Life will automatically be better, as we are creating more positivity. Science is proving that Every thought, word and action have a profound effect, and are actually creating our body and our experience of our life.
Fortunately, we have METACONGNITIVE CAPABILITIES--the power to observe our thoughts and ourselves. Therefore, we have the power to guide ourselves into new paradigms and make better choices for wellness and well-being. |
